Delicious Meals For You!

People are asking to read not only about the service, but the food, on the Personal Chef, LLC web site. Here are some photos I have taken of dishes I make frequently for my customers, and for my own household. I'll add more photos as I cook up more food and remember to take pictures of the food before I eat it!

This is a popular dish, Black and White Beans With Orzo. The beans are cooked with cumin; the orzo is cooked with curry; and steamed vegetables are mixed in with the orzo. The taste is so delicious and yet light, you just keep eating forkful after forkful. It's hard to stop! But hey, it's only 294 calories per serving with 3.2 grams of fat and 473 mg of sodium, so eat up!

The dish on the left is extremely popular, and it's one of my favorites. It's Eggplant with Brown Cumin Rice. The delicious part is really the feta and the goat cheese, oh, and the cumin, of course. This dish has a wonderful greek flavor, the texture of it is excellent, and it freezes and reheats very well. One recipe makes six good-size servings. I really think I could eat this for dinner every day and not get tired of it.

Clearly I am not a food photographer, as sampled by my real live hot slice of Vegetable Lasagna, shown on the right. However, rest assured that I ate this piece of lasagna as soon as the photo was taken. No cold fake models of perfect-looking food here!

I make my vegetable lasagna with spinach, mushrooms, cottage cheese, zucchini and summer squash, tomatoes, red wine, parmesan and mozzarella cheese. For Personal Chef service I layer the filling with no-boil lasagna noodles. That means you can microwave the thawed dish or bake it in the oven for about 20 minutes and the noodles are soft and quite edible! I have taken this lasagna from the freezer to the microwave and been very happy with the results. It's 289 calories per serving, with 8.2 grams of fat. Not bad!

A sample menu for a potential customer service is shown below. This sample menu is for six dinners and 20 lunches. These dinners will feed 3 adults, and the lunches are packaged as single servings.
